RoboSapien V2, Java Robots, and Robot Vision

Here’s a few interesting sites I ran across today. I’m busy getting ready for another semester, so posting is a bit light.
An interesting post about the RoboSapien V2 and his capabilities. According to the poster, demand is high. But, I haven’t found anyone with one yet.
Scott Preston’s website. Looks like he’s promoting his latest book, The Definitive Guide to Java Robots. He’s got quite a few robots on his site.
RoboRealm free robotic machine vision software. I haven’t tried it out yet, but it looks really interesting. It allows you to test algorithms in realtime with a user interface. Here’s a tutorial on using the software to develop a line following robot.
